Hard linefeeds - pleaaaase...

you observe that it is close to unreadable, with few and
humongously long lines.

Please type hard linefeeds, or -- after writing the message with automatic
("soft") line wraps -- select the text and then use "wrap selection" in the
menu bar (if your e-mail program has that option). If not, type the
line feeds (returns) manually, as if on a typewriter.
