Slaget om lokalisering av Ericsson avd. Arendal er vunnet !!
---------------------------------------------------------------
Styret i Ericsson AS besluttet torsdag 13. februar at det IKKE blir
ledelsen i konsernet deltok.
Soerlandet.

The Battle against the re-location of Ericsson Arendal is won!
----------------------------------------------------------------
The Board of Ericsson AS made the decision on the 13th of February NOT
to move the Arendal Division to Oslo. This final decision is
according to the proposal made by representatives from the employees,
in a process where they, local management and top management
participated.
The Action Group thanks you for the support during the last four weeks.
Your contribution has been an important factor in order for us to
prevail during a difficult period were it has been essential to
assemble collective power in order to have the guts and will to reach
our goal to stay on Soerlandet (the South Coast).
We believe that our struggle, followed by this positive result, will
contribute to a new trend for the Norwegian Industry to take into
account the wishes of employees.
Typical for a company within the information technology
industry is that the real value of the company is the competence of the
employees. If a company of this type wants to succeed, the management
should be very aware of this. We believe that this type of industry
should grow in areas where this "resource" (the know how) prefers to
live.
Many thanks to all of you !!
best regards
